SETUP QUESTIONS:

Q: I ordered some phones from you recently. What is the correct version of firmware?
A: The correct version of firmware for the phones is kept up to date on the website, please go to downloads. Please be careful to download the correct firmware for your model of phone. If you have any questions please ask.

Q: The phone works for a while, but then the buttons stop functioning properly. Is the phone bad? What can I do?
A: This does not mean that the phone is bad, but that the wrong firmware as been uploaded. The phone must be reflashed with the correct firmware, if you are unsure please contact a representative.

Q: When I am using the hands-free speaker/microphone the person on the other side can hear oneself back even though the echo cancellation option is activated. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? I really don't want to use the handset.
A: This is a useful feature called "Analog Sidetone". Try this - Pickup your Polycom handset and blow air into the mouthpiece while holding the other end of your handset to the ear, just as you talk to someone. You should hear your own blowing sound. This shows that your handset is functional. If there is a lot of echo when you are on speaker phone, please uncheck all options like 'VAD' - Voice Activity Detection etc, except 'AEC' - Auto Error Correction.

Q: The phone is not responding, what can I do?
A: If your phone is not responding it must be reflashed, please follow these directions.
